ABSTRACT

In this paper, we proposed an image stegangraphy scheme to further improve the side match method proposed by Chang et al. in 2004. By hiding more information in the edge portions, image quality is improved while maintaining the same embedding capacity. This merit results from the fact that human eyes can rarely percept trivial differences in the edge regions. The embedding capacity is adjustable according to various demands of individual users. In addition to the improvement on image quality, the proposed approach provides respectable security as well.
