ABSTRACT

We consider parametric inference for right-censored data where the survival times andWe consider parametric inference for right-censored data where the survival times andthe corresponding censoring status cannot be determined from the data. We develop point andinterval prediction for a future number of surviving units. The performance of the proposedmethods are assessed by means of a simulation study, and an application of the proposed methodsis illustrated using a real data set.
