The 12th International Conference on Awareness Science and Technology (iCAST 2023), 9-11 November 2023, Taichung, Taiwan, is organized to host an NDT and SHM forum for the latest development and applications in the areas such as awareness mechanism and modeling, machine learning, deep learning, soft computing, context/ intention/ location/ resource/ security awareness, social network, cloud computing, and so on. Selected papers falling in the scope of the awareness science and technology are invited to submit the extended versions to the Special Issue of International Journal of Applied Science and Engineering (IJASE) for publication. Moreover, new papers strictly related to the themes of iCAST 2023 are also welcome.

The research articles should be original, and the number of pages of the manuscript in the range of 10-30, including text, figures, and tables (Times New Roman, 12, double spacing).
